Enough wind? Outdoor fun with Kites

With just the right wind strength, one can have a great time flying kites. Gone are the days when the basic design was a square, triangle or rectangle piece of lightweight paper or material tied to an end of a string. Nowadays, there are more varied, unique, fun and even unusual kite designs.

Kites are a safe toy or play item because it does not have protruding or sharp edges that could harm the flier. This, however, does not mean that adult supervision is not advised as the chance of harm being caused by the string and some designs of kites for younger kite fliers is relatively high. Most kites are recommended for those over the age of 5 and this varies in size, weight and other features. For younger fliers, there are designs that will appeal to them as compared to a kite that has a map of the world printed on it (although this could come in handy one day during a fun study session).

There is no better gift or present for a little boy or girl than a balance bike. They are easy to ride, provide lots of fun and they are prefect for kids who aren’t ready for a pedal bike. Balance bikes are usually for children aged from around 2 years (depending on size) up to 5 or 6 years.
