Cool Ride-On Toys and Bikes

When it comes to toys, kids love ride-on toys. These toys provide children with the ability to feel grown up. They love to cruise around like the adults do and show off how much they are growing up. Kids also like to zoom around and feel like they are in control of something bigger than them.

Schwinn Roadster Trike: A retro bike for kids

Let’s take it back to the days when we were kids; when the worries of the world had nothing to do with us. Hop on your fast little tricycle and ride off in the wind. Today, you can buy your little one a trike just like the one you had: retro style! The Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike comes in metallic blue, cherry red or baby pink, and is sure to bring you back memories of days long gone while you watch your child ride it.

The little roadster is very well designed and manufactured; decked out with curved handlebars like the old Schwinn bicycles, a seat that resembles a bucket seat, and a step on the back. Extras include tassels and a bell on the handlebars. There’s even a sippy cup holder behind the seat, in case your little one needs to bring a drink with them. Along with the color and the “chrome” and the very retro look, as far a tricycles go, this one is eye candy. The seat level is also a wonderful thing in this retro trike. Instead of the child being high on a regular tricycle seat, Schwinn placed the seat low to the ground, making spills and fall-offs almost non-existent.

The Wave, the original Street Surfing board

If you’re out on the streets and looking to impress, you want to make sure you can perform some cool and risky tricks. In this past, this could only be done if you were a skateboarder or could pull off impressive tricks on your bike at the park. If you were a surfer at the beach you would get all the attention if you could ride the waves without falling off. There’s a new way to get noticed. It’s a blend of surfing and skateboarding and it’s making everyone’s heads turn.

Note, using a Street Surfing Board might be dangerous for your (small) child. Take care about enough body protection parts to prevent injuries!

Ever heard about Street Surfing?

Street Surfing came out of California. This is the easiest way to picture it if you haven’t seen it before: Street Surfing is to Skateboarding as roller blades are to roller skates. The original Street Surfing Board has only has one row of wheels in the center of the board, allowing for faster acceleration, especially when you’re taking sharp corners and staying low to the ground.
Naturally, skateboarders are the ones who would be able to make a quick and easy move to the WAVE. A lot of skateboarders who make the transition do actually prefer the Street Surfing Board, simply because it allows for greater speed. The single set of wheels also makes it somewhat harder to master, meaning that when you do pull off the Ollies and 360s, you will get all the more attention. Continue reading
